About Us

Mosaic Supplies Inc. is a family run establishment started in 1976 by Bob Teitel at its present location. Bob’s father Manny, had already been in the tile business since 1962, first in East New York and then Rockaway Boulevard in Queens. As a teenager Bob picked up and delivered tile, eventually would help with installations. After college and marriage, Bob decided to open his own tile store in Brooklyn. Manny began working for him and continued to be his mentor. Bob was joined by John, Fred, Stew, George, and Condo( all whom are still here). In 2002, his son Mike joined the team, adding the next generation into the tile business. Ruffino (office and technical specialist) began in 2011, followed shortly by Santiago. Finally, in 2016 his son Steve became a full time worker and is continuing our family’s legacy.
